Skillet was Outstanding!
The Skillet concert at the Baxter Arena was outstanding! I didn't realize there would be 3 bands. The first band was Saint Asonia. I really liked their sound and they did a great job. They played really tight and I liked their music a lot. I liked them so much I bought a couple of their albums after the concert. The second band was Theory of a Deadman. Wow, these guys are a versatile band, they weave in a bunch of different styles and they were really good. I haven't previously heard of them, but you can now count me as a fan. We also purchased their latest album. And then Skillet came out! My son is a big fan of Skillet so we all went to the show, My wife and my two sons. My sons were thrilled at the show and really enjoyed it. Skillet played with a lot of energy and you could tell everybody there at the show enjoyed it. This was my first concert at the Baxter Arena and I think it is about a perfect venue for concerts. Not too big and all the seats are good seats, my kind of place. I hope more good rocking acts will come to Omaha and the Baxter Arena. It wasn't a sold out show, but I think the extra room for everybody is appreciated, I hate feeling jam-packed at concerts. Overall it was a great show, we had a great time and I give it 5 stars!
